Which floating bridge should I choose?
There is a large selection of floating bridges on the market. Some made of wood, plastic concrete and more.
If you want a floating bridge that lasts a long time, it is important to take both material and location into account.
Floating Concrete Pontoons
If you have slightly more exposed harbours, where there is more wind, and therefore more waves, it is important to have a floating bridge that can withstand it.
With a concrete floating bridge, you get a very stable and robust floating bridge that can handle waves. Many concrete floating bridges also have a wave dampening effect.
If you have very exposed harbors where strong winds come, from e.g. Nord Søen, you can also get breakwaters. They go further into the water and help reduce the waves that enter the harbour.
If you like the look of the wooden floating bridges, but need the robustness of a concrete floating bridge, then you can also get a concrete floating bridge covered with wood.
Only your imagination sets the limits to what you can use a floating bridge for, for example. be a base for houseboats, cafes and saunas. We have almost just delivered to the latter Sydhavn in Copenhagen which is currently being completed.

Wood, foam and plastic floating bridges
Floating bridges can be useful for crossing the water, fishing or just relaxing on the water. There are bridges made of light and fluid material, such as wood, foam or plastic.
With the types of floating bridges, you can get some nice bathing bridges and walkways for your waters. They give a neat and simple appearance that fits perfectly into smaller harbours. There is maintenance for wooden floating bridges if you want them to last a long time. You must make sure to oil the wood once in a while, this helps both the appearance of the wood and its durability.
If you have an area with calm water, such as lakes, bays or calm rivers, where the big waves do not come, this floating bridge will suit well.
