Key features

Key features of Marinella NEO Light

Everything a walkway light needs, in the same column that carries power and water elsewhere on the pier.

Marinella NEO Light bollard on a wooden pontoon at blue hour, its head lighting the deck with the harbour lights across the water.

Integrated LED top light

A downward facing LED panel under the top cap lights marina piers, pontoons and common areas. Placement is planned around the walkway layout.

Automatic dusk to dawn

Switches on as daylight fades and off again at daylight, based on sunrise and sunset logic. No manual scheduling and no timers to adjust.

Same footprint as NEO

Matches the proportions and footprint of the Marinella NEO stand, so power, water and lighting units can be mixed along one pontoon in a regular rhythm.

AISI 316 or SS304 steel

AISI 316 and SS304 stainless steel options are available. The material and finish are selected for the installation environment.

Lighting only, by design

A dedicated lighting pedestal with no power or water outlets: no sockets, meters or taps on the body. Use it where you need light, not services.

Service friendly access

Front and top access allow maintenance of the pedestal and light.

Mounting for the site

The freestanding pedestal format can be installed on wooden, concrete or floating structures, with mounting details selected for the site.

Planned electrical connection

The lighting supply and cable routes are included in the site plan, together with the pedestal positions and mounting arrangement.

How it works

How Marinella NEO Light illuminates the walkway

A dedicated LED light with automatic dusk to dawn operation.

Marinella NEO Light is shown from a low angle with its glowing LED cap and brushed-steel profile in sharp detail.

The LED panel beneath the top cap directs light toward the walkway. Automatic dusk to dawn control follows changing daylight through the season.

NEO Light shares the footprint of the Marinella NEO stand and can be planned beside service pedestals or used with other marina equipment. Front and top access support maintenance.

  • The LED panel directs light toward the walkway

  • Automatic control switches the light on as daylight fades

  • The light switches off again at daylight

  • Pedestal positions follow the walkway lighting plan

  • Mounting is selected for the wooden, concrete or floating structure

  • Front and top access are used for service

Ecosystem

Part of the Marinella NEO Series

Coordinate service pedestals, walkway lighting and waste collection through the Marinella NEO Series.

Marinella NEO Light is the dedicated lighting member of the series. The Marinella NEO stand provides metered power and optional water; WallBox provides metered power in a wall mounted format. These connected power units use the Emiko platform.

Marinella NEO LightBin combines walkway lighting with a waste compartment. Light and LightBin are separate lighting products, with a design coordinated with the NEO stand.

  • Marinella NEO WallBox: wall mounted metered power
  • Marinella NEO LightBin: LED light with a waste compartment

Product guide

Marinella NEO Light: choosing a marina lighting pedestal

Plan a dedicated marina lighting pedestal around walkway use, column positions, mounting and maintenance access.

Who Marinella NEO Light is for

Marinella NEO Light is a marina lighting pedestal for the places people actually walk: pontoons, wooden walkways, concrete piers and public waterfront areas. It carries no sockets, meters or taps, so it goes exactly where light is needed and services are not, from the gangway to the furthest corner of the site.

It suits two kinds of harbors equally well. Marinas already running Marinella NEO get lighting in the same column, materials and proportions, so the whole pier reads as one system. Sites with other service pedestals can use it too: the clean architectural profile integrates visually without looking like an add on. Where a lighting point should also collect waste, the closely related Marinella NEO LightBin adds a front access compartment in the same column.

Planning lighting along piers and pontoons

NEO Light shares the footprint of the Marinella NEO stand, so the products can be coordinated in a pier layout. The electrical supply and cable routes are planned with the mounting positions.

Provide the walkway width, route and intended use so Vikingegaarden can advise on the number and placement of lighting columns. Light output and the required coverage are confirmed as part of that plan.

Material selection and service access

The column is available in AISI 316 or SS304 stainless steel with finishes selected for marine use. Material selection and the mounting arrangement are checked for the proposed coastal location.

The freestanding pedestal format can be mounted on wood, concrete or floating structures. Front and top access allow maintenance without changing the overall pier layout.

Automatic operation through the season

The LED panel beneath the top cap directs light toward the walkway. Automatic dusk to dawn control switches it on as daylight fades and off again at daylight.

Vikingegaarden can include specification, installation and service in the lighting project. For locations needing lighting and a waste point together, Marinella NEO LightBin combines those functions in one pedestal.

Good to know

Frequently asked questions about Marinella NEO Light

What is Marinella NEO Light?

Marinella NEO Light is a dedicated lighting pedestal for pontoons, piers and waterfront walkways. It uses the same stainless steel column architecture and footprint as Marinella NEO, with an integrated LED top light and automatic dusk to dawn control, but without power or water outlets.

Does Marinella NEO Light provide power or water outlets?

NEO Light is a dedicated lighting pedestal. For customer services, Marinella NEO offers metered power and optional water in the stand, plus metered power in the WallBox format.

How is the light switched on and off?

Automatically. The LED top light switches on as daylight fades and off at daylight, following sunrise and sunset logic. There is no manual scheduling and no timer to reprogramme through the season.

Which stainless steel options are available?

AISI 316 and SS304 stainless steel options are available. Vikingegaarden confirms the material and finish for the installation environment. Front and top access are provided for service.

Where can Marinella NEO Light be installed?

On marina walkways, pontoons and public waterfront areas. It is engineered for stable installation on wood, concrete or floating structures and fits both NEO based marinas and sites with other service pedestals.

Can NEO Light be used with other marina pedestals?

Yes. It can be installed in a Marinella NEO layout or alongside other service pedestals. The lighting plan determines the column positions, supply and mounting arrangement.

How is the electrical connection planned?

The lighting supply and cable routes are included in the installation plan. Vikingegaarden reviews the existing infrastructure, column positions and mounting surface before specifying the connection.

How far apart should marina walkway lighting pedestals be placed?

Spacing depends on the width of the walkway, how it is used and how even the light needs to be. The exact light output is not published on this page, so send us your pier layout and we will recommend the number of Marinella NEO Light columns and where to place them.
