Steel lattice masts for navigation lights and equipment
GMR steel lattice masts support lanterns and equipment on quays, breakwaters and coastal sites. Vikingegaarden supplies eight standard heights from 2 to 15 metres, and sections joined on site for installations up to 24 metres, with mast top and galvanising selected for the installation.
Key features
Mast selection is based on the required equipment height, mounting interfaces and site loading. Foundation and structural requirements are confirmed for the complete installation.
The GMR range comprises 2, 3, 6, 8, 9, 12, 14 and 15 metre masts. The selected height follows the optical or equipment requirement at the site. Taller installations are built from sections joined on site, up to 24 metres, as at Gjögur.
A standard mast top and a lantern-compatible mast top are available. Equipment mounting dimensions are confirmed before ordering.
The steel is hot-dip galvanised after fabrication. Extra heavy galvanising is available on request, with treatment selected for the exposure and maintenance specification.
The bolted base plate connects the mast to its foundation. Foundation design and permissible equipment loads require confirmation for the site and selected mast.
