What the cabinet does that a pedestal does not
One cabinet where a row of pedestals would otherwise stand, for the places where berths are close together and the quay is short.
Water on the same unit
An optional water outlet sits in the same cabinet, so a berth is served from one place rather than two.
Connections behind doors
The outlets sit inside the cabinet. Doors keep the sockets out of the weather and out of casual reach, which matters on a public quay.

Choosing the shape before the size
Where the cabinet is the right shape, and where a pedestal still is.
Supply points are chosen by capacity and by the space available. A pedestal stands at the berth and serves the boats beside it. A cabinet serves more berths from one position, which suits a short quay, a row of small berths, or a place where the supply comes to one point and is distributed from there. MarineBox is the cabinet in the range: twelve outlets where Marineium has six, in a format that sits against a wall or on the quay rather than standing free at the water edge.

How many berths does one MarineBox serve?
It depends on what each berth draws. Twelve outlets can serve twelve small berths, or fewer berths that each need more power. Tell us the berths and the loads and we work it out with you.
Cabinet or pedestal?
A pedestal stands at the water edge and serves the boats beside it. A cabinet serves more berths from one position and keeps the connections behind doors. Short quays and rows of small berths usually suit the cabinet.
Can it be metered per berth?
Yes. Like the rest of the family, MarineBox connects to the Emiko platform, where consumption is recorded and billed per berth.
