Automatic data exchange
Consumption data for electricity, water and heat is exchanged automatically between the Emiko platform and your financial system.

Utility consumption data for your financial system
Oeconomia is the Emiko module for transferring electricity, water and heat consumption records to a financial or invoicing system. It replaces manual data transfer with an agreed API integration, implemented together with your financial system provider.

Key features
Use recorded consumption from compatible Emiko equipment in your existing invoicing workflow.

Consumption data for electricity, water and heat is exchanged automatically between the Emiko platform and your financial system.
The financial system uses transferred consumption records for invoices and reports, reducing the need to enter meter readings manually.
Transfer consumption records through the integration so staff can focus on reviewing accounts and handling customer questions.
Data security is prioritised with encrypted communication and IP binding, protecting sensitive consumption and customer information.
The integration scales with the number of connected Emiko devices, so it follows the growth of your harbor, site or company.
The integration is implemented with your financial system provider. Agree the required data and receiving system before deployment.
Use records from compatible equipment such as WaterStation, EnergyLogger and Marinella NEO. The required financial integration is agreed for the installation.
The receiving system and the required consumption records are reviewed with your provider before the integration is configured.
How it works
Devices measure, Emiko collects, and Oeconomia hands the consumption to accounting through a secured API.

Emiko connected equipment registers electricity, water and heat consumption according to the installation. The Oeconomia module transfers those records to the customer's financial or invoicing system through an API. Communication is encrypted and protected with IP binding.
Implementation is planned together with your financial system provider. Confirm the receiving system, the consumption records needed and how those records are used for invoicing before deployment. Oeconomia is a software module within Emiko; it is not a separate meter or payment terminal.

Ecosystem
Oeconomia is a software module in Emiko, not a separate device; it serves whichever connected hardware needs financial integration.
The Emiko platform (formerly ProPower and VMS Cloud) collects consumption from supply pedestals, water stations, energy loggers, lighting and access control. OperationManager shows the operating status of that equipment, the Emiko Customer App handles user self service and payment, and Oeconomia closes the loop on the finance side by feeding the registered consumption into your accounting or invoicing system. One platform, from the outlet on the pier to the invoice.

Product guide
Oeconomia turns the consumption the Emiko platform registers into invoices in the financial system you already run. Here is who the module is for, how it fits the platform and how an integration is set up.
The module is aimed at organisations that bill metered consumption: harbors and marinas invoicing boat owners for electricity and water, and companies that charge electricity, water or heat registered by Emiko connected equipment to their customers. In these businesses the slow part of billing is rarely the accounting system itself; it is the manual transfer of meter data into it. Oeconomia removes that step. Consumption flows from the platform into the financial system automatically, bills and reports come out the other end, and the staff who used to move numbers between systems get their time back for more value adding work.
Oeconomia is a software module of the Emiko platform, not a separate device, so there is no extra hardware to buy or mount. It sits alongside the other parts of the platform: the connected equipment registers consumption, OperationManager shows the operating status of that equipment, the Emiko Customer App handles user self service, and Oeconomia closes the loop on the finance side. It applies to any connected hardware that needs financial integration, for example Marinella NEO supply pedestals, WaterStation water dispensers and EnergyLogger meters. For a marina billing platform, that means the whole chain from the outlet on the pier to the finished invoice runs through one system.
Implementation is planned with your financial system provider. Start with the receiving system, the Emiko equipment supplying consumption records and the invoicing workflow that will use those records.
Vikingegaarden coordinates the agreed integration with the provider. The scope and implementation schedule are confirmed for the installation before deployment.
The data exchanged is the consumption Emiko already registers: electricity, water and heat per customer, outlet or building. Once transferred, that data behaves like any other posting in your financial system, so invoicing and reporting follow the routines your finance team already knows, only without the typing. The integration also scales with the installation. When more devices or customers are added to the Emiko cloud, their consumption simply joins the same automated flow, so billing capacity grows with the harbor, site or company instead of becoming a bottleneck.
Consumption records are commercial and personal data, so the exchange is protected accordingly. All communication between the Emiko platform and the financial system is encrypted, and access is restricted with IP binding, which means only the agreed systems at agreed addresses can take part in the exchange. Sensitive consumption and customer information is protected in transfer, and the connection does not depend on staff handling exports and uploads by hand.
Good to know
Oeconomia is a module of the Emiko platform that exposes an API for automated financial data exchange. It transfers electricity, water and heat consumption registered by Emiko connected equipment to your financial or invoicing system, so bills and reports are produced without manual data entry.
Consumption data for electricity, water and heat collected by Emiko equipment such as supply pedestals, water stations and energy loggers. The data goes from the Emiko platform to the customer's financial system for invoicing and reporting.
Communication between Emiko and your financial system is encrypted, and access is restricted with IP binding, so only agreed systems can exchange data. This protects sensitive consumption and customer information during transfer.
Implementation is done in cooperation with your financial system supplier, so the integration is adapted to the system you already run. Contact us with the name of your system and we will plan the integration together with the supplier.
Contact Vikingegaarden to confirm the integration scope and implementation schedule for your financial system. The receiving system and required consumption records are reviewed with your provider before deployment.
Oeconomia was originally introduced as part of the ProPower system and the VMS Cloud platform. That platform is now called Emiko, and Oeconomia is an Emiko module rather than a separate product: software inside the platform, applied across whichever connected hardware needs financial integration.
The integration is implemented in cooperation with your financial system provider. The receiving system and the required records must be reviewed before deployment. Contact Vikingegaarden with the name of your system and your invoicing workflow to confirm the integration scope.
Oeconomia transfers consumption records from the Emiko platform to a financial system. Equipment such as EnergyLogger collects meter data. Payment onboarding is a separate service described on the Nets payment onboarding page.
