How it works
From the plan to the
commissioned installation
Each entrance light is specified separately. The marking plan and site conditions determine the equipment.
- 01
Confirm marking
The marking plan records each position, colour, flash character and required nominal range.
- 02
Assess mounting
The site assessment establishes mounting height, structural condition and access for maintenance.
- 03
Select lanterns
Select one lantern per position; PowerGuard for Nova-65, or verify MCL 360 solar autonomy and controller power.
- 04
Install lights
The lights are mounted and programmed; synchronisation is checked where specified and supported.
- 05
Test monitoring
Commissioning verifies light operation and the Emiko status and alarm functions included in the specification.
Where it is used
Harbour entrance installation sites
Commercial harbours, fishing ports and marinas installing or replacing entrance lights.
- 01
A pier head with or without mains supply
- 02
A breakwater with a cable supply and a defined backup requirement
- 03
A marina entrance, even with significant background lighting

Good to know
Before the
quotation
How is the lantern selected?
The assessment uses nominal range, colour, divergence, background lighting and power availability. Nova-65 requires an external supply; MCL 360 includes solar modules and a battery. Nova-65 range is on request by configuration.
Can the entrance lights be synchronised?
GPS synchronisation can be included where supported by the selected lanterns. The specified flash characters and timing are verified during commissioning.
What is required for a quotation?
The enquiry requires the marking plan, pier-head coordinates, nominal ranges, mounting heights, supply details and required autonomy. Photographs or drawings should show the existing structures and service access.
