How it works
A lantern is selected by position, power supply and the level of monitoring you want.

Start with the marking position, required light character and range. The Nova-65 uses an external supply; the MCL 360 combines the lantern and solar cells in one unit. Select GPS synchronisation, Marine AIS or LightGuard monitoring where required and supported by the chosen configuration.

Vikingegaarden is the point of contact for harbors in the Nordic region: we choose the right lantern and character for each position, deliver and commission the units and support them afterwards together with the rest of your aids to navigation. Further compact and solar lanterns are sold through the same AtoN House Nordic partner network, and where a lantern is prepared for Emiko integration its status, alarms and remote control can be handled on the Emiko platform.

The MCL 360 is a self contained solar lantern whose solar cells form the body of the unit itself, providing a self contained power arrangement. With a range of up to 11 nautical miles and minimal maintenance, it suits buoys and fixed AtoN sites that must run autonomously for long periods. Full photometric data for each model is available on request.
Vikingegaarden helps select the lantern, power supply and mounting for the site, then delivers and commissions the equipment. For a complete fixed installation with a mast and backup power, MarineGuard brings these components together.
GPS synchronisation, Marine AIS and LightGuard monitoring are available within the range. The Nova-65 is prepared for integration with the Emiko platform; full integration is available for the MCL 360. Confirm the required functions for the selected configuration.
LED technology removes routine bulb changes, but the complete installation still needs an inspection and service plan. Vikingegaarden supports the lanterns alongside the rest of the site's aids to navigation.
