Concrete floating bridge contract for Nykøbing Harbor

Vikingegaarden and Pontech won the contract to extend Nykøbing Harbor's footbridge with a concrete floating bridge. The order covered both delivery and installation.

Dimensions and project scope

The concrete floating bridge was specified at 4 m by 96 m, with an access bridge measuring 2.5 m by 5 m. The original announcement described the agreement as a million-dollar contract.

The order announcement set completion as a target for the start of the 2023 sailing season. This was the schedule reported for the project at that stage.

Following the Pontech partnership

Vikingegaarden's partnership with Pontech began in November 2022. The Nykøbing order brought the supply of concrete pontoons together with Vikingegaarden's delivery and installation work.
