Hanstholm Harbor ordered a 70 m Pontech concrete floating bridge from Green Harbor Technology. Announced in July 2023, the project was scheduled to start in late summer that year.

Floating bridge, moorings and shore access

The order covers a 70 m long concrete floating bridge fitted with Y-booms and I-booms to create boat moorings. A gangway connects the floating bridge to the shore.

The announcement described the order as being worth millions, without specifying a currency or an exact contract value.

Supply through Green Harbor Technology

The project followed the partnership between Vikingegaarden and Pontech, established in November 2022. Green Harbor Technology is Vikingegaarden's division for harbor infrastructure, bringing floating structures together with project specification and installation.

For a new installation, explore the current concrete pontoon range. The floating bridge specification guide outlines the site information needed to plan the structure, mooring and access.
