Offshore construction marks
Offshore construction marking provides the marine and aviation signals specified for each phase of the works.

Commissioning verifies the status, alarms and controls supported by each connected instrument.

and interfaces
6 components with specified functions.
The labels identify their Emiko integration.
- 01Structure
Navigation buoys
Special-mark buoys and moorings
Mark approved work boundaries with specified topmarks, ballast and site-designed moorings; no electronics.

How it works
From the plan to the
commissioned installation
The marking programme follows the construction phases. Each change is documented and checked before handover.
- 01
Define phases
The marking programme records the authority requirements, work phases, positions and operating periods.
- 02
Deploy marks
Specify moorings, structure brackets, cable protection and power for all loads; deploy and check the initial buoy marks.
- 03
Equip structures
Fit Nova-65 marine lights and required aviation lights; commission each phase before the work area changes.
- 04
Install permanent marks
Install and test the final marks before withdrawing temporary equipment; verify any separately specified racon or AIS.
- 05
Verify handover
Handover records each mark, its service responsibility and the monitoring functions verified in Emiko.
Where it is used
Offshore works requiring phased marking
Wind farm developers, marine contractors and port operators managing offshore construction, dredging or cable works.
- 01
A wind farm during foundation and turbine installation
- 02
A dredging or reclamation work area
- 03
A cable installation corridor with temporary marking

Good to know
Before the
quotation
How is temporary equipment supplied?
The quotation defines equipment quantities, deployment duration, servicing and recovery. Rental or return arrangements and availability are confirmed on request.
How are virtual mark positions changed?
The optional NaviSuite Perio system manages mark positions and activation through a separately specified shore transmitter. Authority approval, AIS identities, coverage and reception on compatible displays are required. No Emiko connection is included.
What is required for a quotation?
The enquiry requires the construction programme, site coordinates, marking requirements, structure drawings and water depths. Available supplies, deployment access, monitoring and service responsibilities should be stated.
